EDU Virtual Passport Day: The Americas

Each Virtual Passport theme day includes two 45-minute live virtual sessions scheduled at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Registrants also gain access to a virtual classroom space full of digital activities, videos, and articles to further explore the theme throughout the day. Each student will receive a Virtual Passport worksheet, where you can keep track of where you have “traveled” during each session.

Learn more about the cultural traditions of Indigenous people living across North and Central America. Hear from Carlos José Pérez Sámano, Global Guide at the Penn Museum, about Greca Escalonada, a special design found in Mesoamerican art. Get hands-on during a session about the meaning and making of Wampum in North America. 

Programs will be held in a webinar format that offers an easy one-click connection to share in your classroom or with your learners joining remotely.
