Teacher Workshop: Teaching Native American Histories and Cultures Through Primary Sources and Cultural Items.

Join educators from the Penn Museum and the National Constitution Center for a collaborative professional development workshop exploring new approaches to teaching Native American histories and cultures through primary sources and cultural items. As both institutions work to present more inclusive and accurate narratives, this workshop will introduce educators to new resources, current scholarship, and inquiry-based teaching strategies that foster meaningful classroom discussions.

All participants will receive a $75 stipend and a copy of the Penn Museum's Native North America Educators Resource and a set of classroom teaching posters to support continued learning and engagement in their classrooms.
